Orienteering maps by Ben Mitchell
Based in Swansea, U.K, I make maps for clubs, for schools, for business and sometimes just for fun.
In 2016 I was awarded British Orienteering Chichester Trophy for the best map by an amateur mapper for an area known as Sugar Loaf which was used for the Welsh Orienteering Championships that year. Since then I have continued to develop my skills and have mainly been working on bigger projects such as maps for the Veteran Home Internationals and the JK.
I also compete as an orienteer at an elite level and represented Great Britain for the first time as a senior in 2018. My local club is Swansea Bay Orienteering Club and I also compete internationally for Rajamäen Rykmentti based in Finland.
Feel free to get in touch. I would be glad to help!
